Western Regional Meeting 2015

Welcome Message
The Orange County Section of the American Chemical Society (OCACS) was pleased to host the 45th Western Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society. It took place on November 6-7, 2015, on the beautiful campus of California State University - San Marcos, in North San Diego County, a short drive from the cities of San Diego and Los Angeles.
The weekend was packed with presentations and posters that reflected the diverse and exciting scientific work conducted in the Western Region. Scientists and science professionals came from several states and countries to hear the presentations, visit the Expo and network with other Western Region scientists.

There were many Special Events, including the Women Chemists Luncheon which kicked-off the conference, the Young Chemists Q&A Panel and Networking Event, and the WRM 2015 Awards Reception at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, Escondido, CA.
